Franciacorta and its treasures

PROVAGLIO d’ISEO

The northernmost town in Franciacorta before you get to Lake Iseo, Provaglio, provides a delightful view over the Sebino Peat Moors. The origin of the town is directly linked to the presence of the 11th century Cluniac Monastery of San Pietro in Lamosa, one of the most interesting Romanesque remains in the province of Brescia.

RODENGO SAIANO

Rodengo Saiano has been an independent district since 1927, it ties about 15 km north west of Brescia. One place worth a visit is the Abbey of San Nicola, one of the most impressive monastic sites in Italy.
